Let’s get Special
Olympics athletes

back on the field.

COVID-19 made it difficult for athletes—especially those with disabilities—to stay fit and play sports. This summer, Blood Bank of Hawaii is leveling the playing field by championing Special Olympics Hawaii, a statewide non-profit that supports children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

For each blood donation made between June 1 and August 31, Special Olympics Hawaii will receive much-needed sports equipment or PPE supplies to help their athletes across the state stay connected and safe. In addition to helping patients, your donation also gives these special athletes the opportunity to get back on the field and experience the joy Special Olympics brings to their lives.

Be a sport and join our team of summer donors. Every donation (whole blood, platelets or plasma) counts.
